Ingredients
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup Carnation milk (evaporated milk)
- 1 cup butter
- 1.25 cups icing sugar
Instructions
- Melt the butter in an appropriately-sized pot
- Stir in the evaporated milk and the brown sugar
- Bring to a boil on medium-high heat
- When it reaches 235-240 degrees F, remove from heat,
add the icing sugar, and beat with an electric mixer for 3 minutes - Pour into prepared pan to cool
- Store in an airtight container to mitigate drying
- Refrigeration optional
